Obama Is Beautiful World

My favorite reaction to Obama from around the world comes from the tiny beach town of Obama, Japan. The Anyone Brothers Band wrote the happiest song of all - Obama is Beautiful World:

Waiting to vote

One picture can't show the whole line, but this is a picture from half
a block down and around the corner.

The line is moving quickly, though.

There's a Japanese news crew here reporting on election day. I'm
really proud we have such a large turnout for them to see.

President Palin

The headlights searched through the rain, looking for me. Mud was settling in to the sides of my sneakers, soaking through the seat of my jeans, and hardening into the areas of my hair that weren't exposed to the rainwater dripping through the trees.
I could hear engines rev and fall as tires spun momentarily in muddy divots, their noise competing with the Toby Keith coming from someone's distorted Jeep speakers and the drunken shouting inside the various cars and trucks.
